Every time they are to use your computer, log out of your personal account and let them login in the guest account. It is a way to prevent access to all your personal files.

Securely wipe hard disk data. Your Hard disk contains all your personal information in it. Do not just format nor delete files without wiping the data. Data Wiping will make all the files unrecoverable so when you sell or throw away the disk, you are sure that nothing can be recovered.

Find a Long-Lost Relative

Oftentimes when settling the estate of a deceased relative it becomes necessary to find all of the possible relatives of that person. In many cases the estate and will cannot be processed and finalized until those relatives mentioned in the will have been located.

Nowadays the Internet makes the process of finding lost people who are named in wills much easier. In many cases it’s a simple matter of going to a search engine online and doing a few quick and simple searches for that person’s name, phone number, and or last known address for that person.

Always remember when using search engines that putting quotation marks around specific phrases in the search string often will provide more accurate results. For example, if you are searching for the persons name and you insert only their first and last name in the search box, the search engine will provide results for those names why possibly not in that order. If you want results only for names that are in that exact order put quotations around the entire name. This one sure that the search results will only have the name in that exact order.

For example, if you simply type the and John Smith without using quotations around the name, the search results would contain sites and pages that possibly contained the names John Davis and William Smith. Obviously, those are not the search results you are looking for. Searching on an Internet search engine without using location marks yields many results that are completely irrelevant.

Also remember that various search engines will provide different results. If you don’t find what you are looking for on the first three or four pages of search results in one search engine, go try the same searches in a few other major search engines. The results for the same searches can be dramatically different from one search engine to the next. Never give up while only trying one search engine; always try the same searches in multiple search engines for the best possible results.

When looking for that long-lost relative to finalize a will, the Internet makes the process so much easier today compared to times past.

I believe in government help. In fact, we all believe in government help. Where we disagree, however, is how much help the government should provide. Because for all of the clamoring for smaller government by certain groups, it’s the same groups that will demand government intervention if some of their interests are negatively affected. That is, their principal so long as it doesn’t affect them. But I’m not here to point fingers. What I want state is that the government is in existence for a reason. There are some problems and nation faces that are simply too large for any collection of smaller governments to handle. This would include the obvious national defense, but also the more contentious health care of the nation. It is absolutely the governments responsibility to take care of those who cannot take care of themselves. Not all of us were born with the innate ability to be successful.

Her Breaking Heart

I was worried of my roommate’s condition last week. She had not been eating since his boyfriend left her for another woman. She just cried and could not sleep at night. She had lost interest to pretty much everything. She just laid all day and night in the bed, without even taking the effort to take a bath and clean up. When I noticed that she was not getting any better, I brought her to friend who is a psychiatrist. She had been counseled and was given Seroquel to alleviate her depression. She was instructed to follow the prescription to avoid Seroquel side effects. I hope that she can recover soon from depression. In time, hopefully she can come to a realization that it is not the end of the world. There is life ahead of her and there will be someone out there meant for her. But for now, all I can do is just to be with her, and help her cope each day.

I have decided to put privacy film for windows both in my bedroom and bathroom. I was looking around in the home depot the other day and I came across a privacy film which also works as in insulating film. I was interested in buying it as summer is coming up and I would want to keep the heat from entering my room as much as possible. My electricity bill tends to go up during summer time as my air conditioning is turned on for many hours. The window film is able to reflect the rays of the sun while at the same time giving you privacy inside your home. I bought it and I hired someone to install the window film. I am yet to find out if it is effective in keeping the heat of the sun out but I do hope that it works as summer is a few months away.

Tips for Home Cleaning

I don’t mind telling you that I really hate cleaning my own home. I think my family expects that I enjoy it or at least do it effortlessly every week to maintain the household. I secretly harbour a lot of displeasure at the thought of having to clean up after various family members on a regular basis. I also have a hard time cleaning every room and making sure that all of surfaces are sparkling on a consistent basis. Although I keep all of these thoughts to myself, I’m pretty sure a lot of other people around the country feel the same way. Thankfully, I was able to implement a few cleaning tips to make all of my chores go by faster.

The first thing I did was overhaul my entire routine so that I could do a little bit of work every day. I used to be in the habit of waiting until the weekend to start my cleaning and by the end things would build up too unmanageable proportions. These days I simply do 20 minutes of cleaning everyday in whichever room needs it. And then when I do my normal routine on Sunday, there is a lot less work overall. I also implemented a system of using new tools such as a Shark steamer that allows me to go to any room and clean it as fast as possible. I started using a stop watch so that I can time myself in various rooms and this has increased my efficiently tremendously. I highly recommend faster tools like a Shark steamer or even a clothes steamer that will allow you to do, and chores in a quicker amount of time.

I have been able to take a lot of the pressure off of myself by including various family members in cleaning as well. I find it helps to teach responsibility when my kids are able to contribute to the overall cleanliness of the household. They can find out for themselves first-hand how difficult it is to keep an area clean and they’re more likely to be careful when they know they have to clean up after themselves.
