I drive a mid-range family saloon, and I always thought cheap car insurance deals didn’t really apply to the likes of me. However, I have become a convert to comparison sites after my experiences this week. I’d been automatically renewing my cover every year for a decade without really questioning the price I was quoted, but not anymore.
A few minutes on the site has saved me £97, a staggering sum which I will now be investing in a romantic dinner for two with my wife this coming weekend. I only wish I’d gone down this route a few years ago, instead of waiting until now. One thing is for sure from now on, though, and that is that I’ll be returning to the site on an annual basis.
Anybody who was just renewing every year like I was may well be paying far more than they need to. A quick look online is all it takes to see for themselves.
