Alessi Designer Corkscrews

One thing that has always taxed me as a designer is how many designer corkscrews there are out there on the market – I have seen so many! When I studied at Design College as a graphic designer we had a product design department where every year had to choose the product that it wanted to redesign. You won’t believe how many corkscrews I saw during the period that I was there studying. I guess to a student that a corkscrew is a natural extension to the arm after all they are always drinking aren’t they? One of the best corkscrews that I have seen out there is by Italian design company Alessi. It falls into the more conventional bracket in terms of it’s functionality but the most entertaining aspect are the shapes. The top of the corkscrew is shaped like a head and the outer casing a body with the arms a levers. They come in male and female characters and are a source of amusement around the home.

Lilian and the Story of Her Boss .

When Lillian learnt that her boss which was married with children wanted to have an affair with her , she became so worried and decided to investigate what was happening in his home. Only then did she realize that his wife was a career woman and had no time for her family and their seven year old son had no parental guardianship from both the mother and father. I had no choice than to than to report to child service she told the journalist that interviewed her after her boss had to go to court for child neglection. She said she is now like an outcast because no one wants to speak to her because they actually think what she said was unfair but then she thinks it is for the best interest of the child. The court finally found them guilty and asked them to change their schedule if they wanted to keep their child. I support Lillian because I later found out that it changed their life and their family became better .

The Best Vacation with the Best People

My boyfriend, best friend, her boyfriend and I all decided to take a double vacation together to Frankfurt to just have fun and experience new scenery for awhile. We found great deals on Frankfurt hotel vacations on the internet and really fell in love with one of the hotels online! When we got to our hotel it was more then we could have imagined! The hotel staff were very nice and allowed us to get our room 2 hours early! They even upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite which was just amazing! We had a wonderful view of the city and were so excited to get out on the town that night! We ended up going to the most wonderful disco club called Sky-club which was just so much fun! We had such an amazing 2 weeks in Frankfurt and I wish we could have spent more time but cannot wait until we get the chance to go back next year!
